BIOGRAPHY
No Bare Feet was a Pop-Punk band from the islands of Hawaii, that was co-formed by my uncle, Adrian Estrella, who now sings for Zebrahead, and previously, Assuming We Survive.
Quoted from No Bare Feet's official websiteNo Bare Feet formed on the little island of Oahu, Hawaii. Brothers, Matt & Josh Baker along with good friend Trevor Jackson teamed up with Adrian Estrella to form No Bare Feet in early January of 03'. Playing often, NBF quickly built a large fan base, mostly because of they're energy on stage and funny lyrics.

Radio stations soon took notice in that and paired NBF up with bands such as SUM 41, HOOBASTANK, and SLIGHTLY STOOPID when they came to town. These radio stations liked NBF so much the guys found themselves on the air quite a bit with Hawaii's top DJ's spinning NBF's music.
Much of NBF's run was very successful, however, through tension growing within the band, No Bare Feet would break up somewhere in 2005-2006, roughly right after releasing their debut album "8th Grade Teacher".

This is a 17 minute mini-documentary, detailing the history of No Bare Feet, created by Audio Abuse Entertainment. It features everything shown on this archive page, as well as live footage and some hidden tracks on their debut album.
DISCOGRAPHY
8th Grade Teacher
8th Grade Teacher is a 15-track album released in 2005 that featured the sounds of that classic Y2K Punk Rock sound, with a deep overtone of Hawaiian energy and teen angst.
The Album was produced by Cameron Webb, whom had previously produced records for Motorhead, Sum 41, and Social Distortion. The Album was recorded in Orange County, CA.
The album was the first and last piece of music NBF released and would go on to be reuploaded onto YouTube through archive channels and be released onto Spotify and Apple Music through "Hawaiian Express" a Hawaiian punk record label that featured two No Bare Feet classics, '8th Grade Teacher' and 'Our Song' on volumes 1 and 2 of their annual release of "Hawaiian Punk: Punk Rock from the islands of Hawaii", released in 2007 and 2008.
WEBSITE
The NO BARE FEET website from September 2003, to April 2005;
No Bare Feet's website did not change much through the 3 or so years they were together, though almost every page excluding the 'photos' page was saved and are fully viewable! What's really cool about this website is it really draws your attention less to the graphical appearance and more to the lore; through the time it existed you can get active updates on the band's debut album "8th Grade Teacher" and as well with changing members of the band!

UPDATES
DIRECTROCK.COM
As mentioned in the previous update, I received a few CDs with old, unreleased demos; however, one of those demos had a little sticker attached to it that said "www.directrock.com". Of course my first reaction was to put it into the Wayback Machine and what I found was incredible!
It seems www.nobarefeetsucks.com was not the first website the band ever had. It was actually what came after their first website (directrock.com)
However, this website seems to have been completely subjected to the highest damage of digital decay, as most of the buttons and images have disappeared and the tour photo gallery is missing everything ):
BUT, I found something I never expected; 5 photos of the band! All in horrendous quality, but they are all we have left, so no one can be upset!

NBFROCKERGIRL
It's not over! I found something in the back end; an obscure URL to a site called YoYo's World, a small HTML blog ran by a user named "nbfrockergirl". She appears to be a fan of No Bare Feet, considering her username, as well as the cool ultra-light NBF profile image. Though, below the wall of red text, there's two missing images of what can be assumed to be the band, and what sounds like a trolling caption above one of them.
Looking further, I found out this user seemed to have made other blog sites as well, including one of them, that seems to be a diary of sorts, the user spilling out her heart onto text... hope she's still alive...
NEW SONGS FOUND!!
It's true, I have found and recovered a total of 6 new songs from a really old CD that was given to me by my father. He had received it from my uncle 20-something years ago and decided I should have it. That said, of those 6 songs, 2 of them were actually older demo versions of some songs on 8th Grade Teacher; Can I Say, and Your Freedom. They will be posted soon.
Until then, enjoy the new songs and look out for more news, as I can confirm something really big will be coming for No Bare Feet!
As of January 2025, it is not likely at any point in the future No Bare Feet will see a reunion. However, something very interesting is happening; Upon googling No Bare Feet, a plethora of various new web entries come up. For instance, there is now an Official artist page featuring Spotify and Apple Music and others that certainly weren't there before. There is also a Hawaiian radio station that featured their song "Your Freedom" on a 1 hour, 30 second mix with several other obscure punk bands from Hawaii, which can be found in the "Links" section below this page.
It almost seems to me as if one of the members of the band is attempting to bring NBF back from the dead. An act of posterity if you will, though I believe it is the act of preserving what is easy to be forgotten.
RESURGENCE
In I will be keeping an extensive eye on the internet regarding any and all new NBF content that pops at any point. It seems the preservation of the band has been taken up by others on the internet as well. If you find anything new, no matter how big or small, shoot me a message in the contact section and I will 100% look into it! -Okilly
